Are we a culture that cheats? According to author David Callahan’s book, ” The Cheating Culture: Why More Americans Are Doing Wrong to Get Ahead;” He believes that we are. This book was released in 2004 and I came across it recently in a bookstore. This is not a typical book exploring infidelity, but rather the fierce need to compete in order to survive the systems we’ve created.

Our wealth and prosperity is measured by others. Our self-worth is defined by numbers, symbols, and things…material objects that we, as a collective consciousness has ascribed worth to.
